The Spartan Safety Workwear & PPE Range was launched by Delta Safety Group. It’s aim is to provide a reliable, simple and affordable brand of Safety Workwear & PPE, that effectively protects its wearer. Starting off with just a few core lines, the Spartan Safety range continues to expand. It now covers more industries and more styles; constantly striving for a disciplined level of reliability.
Spartan Warriors
Sparta was one of the most efficient and strongest of the leading Greek city states in its era. It was the home to the Spartan Warriors, called hoplites, known for their bravery, professionalism and skill. Spartan warriors were chosen from before birth, selected by the lineage of the parents. They attended military boarding school from as early as six or seven years old. Here they began their strenuous and sometimes brutal training. Taught to fight and endure hardship, they were given only the very basics in food and clothing. At the age of 20, the Spartan became a full time warrior for the next 20 years. Then, from the ages of 40 to 60 they were in the reserves.

At Spartan™ Workwear, all our garments are manufactured to comply with, or exceed, the relevant Australian Safety Standards. These include AS/NZS 4602.1:2011 for High Visibility and AS NZS 4399 for Sun Protection. Fire Retardant Garments are manufactured to comply with or exceed Standard NFPA 70E.
